School Work

Horti Cultural Society
Abercrombie & Fitch BTS/Fall 2010
This garden-themed collection earned me a summer internship with Abercrombie & Fitch, eventually leading to my first professional role in fashion design.
Inspired by horticulture, the collection featured playful rompers, layered silhouettes, and a custom floral print that tied everything together. I meticulously branded the project, adding themed tags and packaging, which reinforced the cohesive narrative of a gardening-inspired lifestyle brand.
Highlights:
Designed with a focus on youthfulness and nature.
Created a storytelling-driven collection that emphasized branding.
Laid the foundation for my future work in creating complete concepts.
Geodesic Psycho Babble
Senior Collection - Runway Show
My senior collection explored the intersection of geometry and streetwear. Inspired by the structure of tetrahedrons, each piece incorporated striking, three-dimensional shapes in unexpected places.
The collection was entirely white, with models sporting colorful Ked's in primary hues for playful pops of color. This collection celebrated bold, architectural fashion, redefining traditional silhouettes with dynamic, geometric accents.
Highlights:
Experimented with structural forms in wearable streetwear designs.
Balanced minimalism with vibrant accessories to create a visually striking runway presentation.
Reflected a modern, edgy approach to fashion.
Your Lovely Bones
CFDA Project 2010
Selected to represent my school at the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) in New York City, this project pushed the boundaries of design and storytelling.
"Your Lovely Bones" fused themes of fragility and strength, with each garment embodying an emotional narrative through its unique construction and fabric manipulation.
Highlights:
Crafted a conceptual, emotionally evocative collection.
Showcased at a prestigious national event.
Demonstrated innovation in both design and execution.
Tetrahedron Case Study
This experimental project explored modular design and versatility. Using a series of triangular shapes, I created a skirt that transformed through magnetic connections.
The design invited wearers to reconfigure the garment into multiple silhouettes, blending avant-garde artistry with practical adaptability.
Highlights:
Pioneered a magnetic modular garment system.
Focused on innovation and user interaction.
Illustrated the potential of geometry in fashion design.
Bubble Pop Dream
Sophomore Dress Design, Styling & Photography Project
This project combined playful silhouettes with meticulous styling to create a whimsical ensemble. The white lace babydoll dress featured a bubble skirt and sleeves, with vibrant green underlining peeking out in unexpected places like the collar.
The dress was complemented by the model's bubble buns hairstyle, nude shoes, and a gold necklace, bringing the joyful, effervescent vibe to life.
Highlights:
Explored youthful elegance with playful design choices.
Styled and photographed the project, showcasing a multidisciplinary approach.
Focused on creating a cohesive visual narrative.
